Anonymous crypto exchange
Swap 1,000+ assets across 40+ networks without creating an account, handing over an email or uploading a document. Monivo is a non-custodial aggregator: it quotes every connected account-free exchange for your exact pair and amount, then routes the order to whichever one pays out the most. Your coins never rest on Monivo — they move from your wallet to the provider and out to the address you control.

Crypto-to-crypto swaps need only a destination address. No account is created at any point.
How anonymous your swap actually is, by asset
Every account-free exchange removes the same thing: the venue's copy of your identity. What differs enormously is what the blockchain still shows afterwards. Pick the asset that matches what you are actually trying to protect.
| Anonymity | Asset | What the chain shows | Residual exposure |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strong | Monero (XMR) | Amounts, sender and receiver hidden by ring signatures and stealth addresses | Exchange deposit/withdrawal timing, and anything your own wallet leaks |
| Conditional | Zcash (ZEC) shielded | Shielded pool transfers hide amounts and addresses | Most ZEC moves transparently; shielding only helps if both legs are shielded |
| Weak | Bitcoin, Litecoin | Every amount and address is public and permanently linkable | Chain analysis clusters addresses across your whole history |
| Weakest | USDT, USDC and most tokens | Public ledger plus a centralised issuer | Issuers can and do freeze addresses on request |
- Monero (XMR): The only widely-swappable asset where the ledger itself is private.
- Zcash (ZEC) shielded: Real privacy, but only when you actually use the shielded pool.
- Bitcoin, Litecoin: Account-free is not anonymous — pseudonymous at best.
- USDT, USDC and most tokens: Convenient, never anonymous. Treat stablecoins as fully visible.
What “anonymous” does and does not cover
Most pages advertising an anonymous crypto exchange stop at “no ID required”. Here is the part they leave out, because knowing where the boundary sits is what keeps a swap — and your privacy — intact.
“Anonymous exchange” means the venue never learns who you are
A non-custodial swap needs a destination address and nothing else — no name, no email, no document. That removes the venue as a data-collection point, which is the single biggest identity leak in crypto.
It does not make the transaction invisible
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron and most chains publish every transfer forever. If the coins you deposit were bought on a verified exchange, that history follows them. Anonymity comes from the asset, not the swap service.
Your IP is a bigger leak than your wallet
Metadata beats cryptography for most people. A swap made from a residential IP with a fingerprintable browser is linkable even when the ledger is not. Use Tor or a trusted VPN if this matters to you.
Fiat legs can never be anonymous
Card and bank rails are run by regulated payment institutions with legal identity obligations. Any site advertising anonymous card purchases is misrepresenting how those rails work. Only the crypto-to-crypto leg can be account-free.
Large or flagged deposits can still trigger review
Instant exchanges apply risk thresholds rather than upfront KYC. Unusual size, or a deposit address with a sanctioned history, can pause an order and prompt a verification request. Splitting the order rarely helps and costs you rate.
Reusing addresses undoes everything
Paying out three anonymous swaps to the same address links them together and to whatever else that address ever touched. Fresh receive address per swap is the cheapest privacy win available.
How to swap crypto anonymously
- 1
Choose an asset that matches your threat model
If you want ledger-level privacy, swap into Monero. If you only want to avoid handing an exchange your passport, any asset works — but be honest about which of the two you actually need.
- 2
Use a fresh destination address
Generate a new receive address for every swap. This stops chain analysis from clustering separate swaps into one profile, and costs nothing.
- 3
Swap from a wallet you control
Deposits sent directly from a verified exchange account carry that account's identity along with them. Move funds to a self-custody wallet first if the origin matters.
- 4
Cover the network layer
Tor or a reputable VPN removes the IP correlation that would otherwise defeat everything above. Also avoid pasting addresses through cloud clipboards and note apps.
- 5
Pick fixed or floating deliberately
Fixed locks your output for the deposit window; floating settles at the market rate on confirmation. Fixed is worth the small spread when you plan to send the deposit through a slow, privacy-preserving path.
- 6
Verify the network before you send
Most lost funds are not a privacy failure but a network mismatch. Confirm the destination chain matches the asset variant you selected before the deposit leaves your wallet.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
What is an anonymous crypto exchange?
An anonymous crypto exchange completes a swap without an account, an email address or identity documents. You provide only a destination wallet address, send the deposit, and the output is delivered directly to you. Because the service is non-custodial and never takes deposits as a financial institution, it has no reason to collect your identity.
Which crypto exchange is truly anonymous?
The venues still running account-free crypto-to-crypto swaps in 2026 include Monivo, FixedFloat, ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, Godex and the swap side of Changelly. Monivo quotes several of them at once for your exact pair and routes the order to whichever one pays out the most, so you get anonymity without hand-checking each venue.
Is an anonymous crypto swap legal?
In most jurisdictions, yes. Crypto-to-crypto swaps through a non-custodial exchange are legal in the US, UK and most of the EU, and you remain responsible for reporting taxable disposals under your local rules. This is general information, not legal or tax advice.
Can I trade crypto anonymously without ID?
Yes, for the crypto-to-crypto leg. You cannot do it for fiat: card and bank rails are operated by regulated payment institutions legally required to verify customers. If you already hold any crypto, swapping it is the anonymous path; if you are starting from cash, the first hop will always be verified.
Is Bitcoin anonymous if I swap it without an account?
No. Skipping account creation hides you from the venue, not from the chain. Bitcoin publishes every amount and address permanently, and chain analysis clusters addresses across your history. For ledger-level privacy the asset has to do the work, which in practice means Monero.
Does Monivo log my IP or store my swap history?
Monivo does not create an account for you and does not ask for identity data. Swap records exist only to service the order and support your receipt; there is no user profile to attach them to. If network-level anonymity matters for your threat model, use Tor or a VPN — that layer is outside any exchange's control.
Are there limits on an anonymous swap?
There is no upfront cap, but instant exchanges apply risk thresholds. Very large deposits, or funds arriving from an address with a flagged history, can trigger a manual review that requests verification. Breaking one large swap into several smaller ones does not reliably avoid this and usually costs you a worse rate.
How long does an anonymous swap take?
Typically 5 to 40 minutes end to end, dominated by deposit-side network confirmations. Solana and Tron settle in minutes, Bitcoin deposits usually wait for one to two confirmations, and Monero payouts land after about ten blocks.
