Crypto swap rate report: August 2026
Every figure below comes from Monivo's own quote sampling in August 2026. For each quote set, every connected provider that could route the pair was asked for the same pair, amount and rate type in one sweep, and the gap between the best and worst recorded payout was computed inside that set. Nothing here is modelled, scaled or estimated.
Observations run from 2026-08-27 to 2026-08-31 (UTC).
Legacy method (version 1). This archived month is republished exactly as first calculated and is not recalculated under the current method. Its liquidity filter was applied only to the pair table, so its headline totals can include pairs the current method would exclude, and its figures are not directly comparable with newer reports.
Headline figures for August 2026
A median spread of 2.17% means that in a typical quote set, the best provider paid out that much more than the worst for the identical swap. Picking the wrong venue costs roughly that, before network fees.

The table lists the ten best-sampled pairs of the month. The headline figures above cover the whole sample, not just these ten.
Who quoted best in August 2026
How often each provider offered the highest payout in the quote sets it took part in. This is a record of quotes, not of executed trades.
Providers were not asked in comparable numbers of quote sets this month, so a ranking would say more about coverage than about pricing. It is withheld rather than published misleadingly.
How this month was measured
Same request, one quote set
A spread is only computed inside one quote set — the answers several providers gave to one pair, amount and rate type in a single sweep. Quotes from different sweeps are never compared. Stored timestamps are recording times, not verified quote ages.
Best answer per provider (legacy method)
Under the method this archived month was measured with, a provider that answered more than once in a set was represented by its best payout, so no venue was double-weighted.
Malformed answers removed
A quote more than three times away from the field is a broken answer, not a competitive one, and is discarded. A genuinely poor but plausible quote still counts.
Quoted, not executed
These are amounts providers offered to deliver. Floating-rate swaps settle at the market price when a deposit confirms, so a delivered amount can differ.
Coverage is the fixed sampling panel plus whatever pairs and sizes visitors asked for that month, and only providers connected to Monivo are represented. Figures are never extrapolated to a wider market.
