Are anonymous crypto swaps really anonymous?
They are anonymous at the venue: no account, no email, no ID. They are not automatically anonymous on-chain. On Bitcoin or Ethereum the deposit and payout are permanently public, so a swap between transparent chains is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Routing through Monero is what breaks the on-chain link.

Can an anonymous swap be traced back to me?
It can if you leave the links intact. The usual giveaways are depositing coins withdrawn from a verified exchange, reusing a receiving address, and doing both from your home IP. Break those three and there is nothing at the venue to trace, because nothing was ever collected.
Is there a limit on an anonymous swap?
There is no verification threshold on crypto-to-crypto routes. Per-order minimums and maximums come from provider liquidity on that pair and are shown in the quote. Deposits are screened against sanctions and stolen-funds lists, so a flagged deposit can be held for review — that is a check on the coins, not on you.
