The story behind Ark

Ark forked Lisk's codebase in 2017 with a specific complaint about the industry it was joining: launching a blockchain was still treated as a bespoke engineering project when it should have been closer to filling out a template.

The team built tooling meant to let outside developers deploy their own interoperable chains without starting from scratch, then later rebuilt Ark's core software around a more modular architecture to make that bridgechain development genuinely easier rather than just theoretically possible.

Ark is a small-cap veteran with a community that has stuck around since 2017 but comparatively little current ecosystem activity to show for it.
