About Monivo: how we quote, route and settle swaps
Monivo is a non-custodial crypto swap aggregator. We do not hold balances, we do not run an order book, and we do not make money on hidden withdrawal charges. We ask providers for a quote on your pair, show you what each one will actually deliver, and route your trade to the best of them.
How the aggregator works
1. We poll every provider that supports your pair
Each integrated venue is asked for a quote on the exact amount and network you selected. Providers that cannot settle that route — wrong chain, below minimum, asset unlisted — are excluded rather than shown with an unusable estimate.
2. We compare on delivered output, not headline fees
Quotes are ranked by the amount that lands in your wallet after spread, provider fee and payout network fee. A venue advertising "0% fees" with a wide spread loses to one that charges a visible fee and quotes tighter.
3. You keep custody the whole way through
You send from your wallet to a one-time deposit address and the provider settles to the address you supplied. Monivo never has an account balance to freeze, lend or lose.
4. We track the order until it settles
Signed provider webhooks and polling both feed the order page, and the receipt shows the amount actually delivered. Where delivered output differs from the quote, the difference is logged and reviewed.
How Monivo makes money
A margin is included in the rate you are quoted, and it is the same margin whichever provider wins the route — so the comparison is not tilted toward the venue that pays us most. There is no account fee, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Network fees go to the blockchain, not to us.
Where KYC does and does not apply
Crypto-to-crypto swaps run without an account or identity documents. Fiat card and bank on-ramps are operated by regulated partners and legally require verification. Every provider — including the ones that never ask for ID — runs sanctions and analytics screening, and can hold funds flagged by it. We state this plainly rather than advertising privacy we cannot guarantee.

Editorial standards
- Comparison tables include competitors, and we list what they do better.
- Rates shown on route pages come from live provider quotes, not from screenshots or marketing copy.
- Guides carry a published and last-updated date, and we bump the update date only when the substance changes.
- We do not publish testimonials, ratings or user counts we cannot evidence.
Honest limitations
- Quotes are estimates until a fixed rate is locked; floating-rate swaps settle at the market price when your deposit confirms.
- Provider coverage changes. An asset or network can disappear from a route at short notice when a venue delists it.
- A non-custodial swap is pseudonymous, not anonymous — the deposit and payout addresses remain publicly linked on-chain.
- We cannot reverse a transaction sent to the wrong network or address; the guard at checkout is prevention, not recovery.
