About Monad (MON)
Layer-1 blockchainMonad (MON) is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 that executes transactions in parallel while preserving Ethereum's exact execution semantics, aiming to combine very high throughput with low fees without breaking compatibility for existing developers.
The story behind Monad
A group of former high-frequency trading engineers founded Monad and raised substantial funding in 2024 to pursue an unusually ambitious goal: rebuild Ethereum's execution stack from the ground up, including writing a custom database engine, while keeping the result perfectly compatible with existing Ethereum contracts. That rebuild took years longer than many newer chains typically spend before launch, reflecting how much of the ordinary Ethereum experience the team was determined not to break in the process.
What MON is used for
MON pays gas fees on the network, is staked by the validators securing it, and is used in on-chain governance decisions about the protocol's direction. For developers, the appeal is that they can deploy unmodified Solidity contracts, the same code they would write for Ethereum, and get the benefit of Monad's parallel execution without having to learn a new programming model or rewrite anything.
Monad in the market today
Monad is one of the most closely watched performance-focused Layer-1 chains to launch in recent years, competing with Solana, Sei and MegaETH for latency-sensitive trading and gaming applications that need speed above almost everything else. As with any brand-new execution engine, the real test is not benchmark numbers but how the chain behaves under sustained, adversarial load once genuine usage arrives — something no amount of pre-launch testing can fully substitute for.

Fees and pricing
Zero added fees: Monivo does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.
Monivo does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. Monivo may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.
Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by Monivo. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.
